(Disclaimer: THIS IS A JOKE. Mostly. Anyway, it’s satire. Don’t take it seriously.) Now, you might not have heard about this, but there’s another big presidential election here in the U.S. this year. And not to put too fine a point on it, but right now, the state of the nation is probably worse than it’s ever been before in my lifetime. The country is tearing itself apart, 40 million+ jobs have been lost, the debt is higher than ever (and all the politicians are like "Nah, it'll be fine!"), the Federal Reserve has declared a currency shortage, crime is at record levels and many major US cities have looked like Gotham City in Arkham Knight after dark for nearly three months, and the nation has spent most of the year so far huddled in mortal fear of a virus that kills very few people under the age of 70. It’s almost as though the country is suffering from a complete and utter lack of leadership. Adding insult to injury, it also looks as though our options at the ballot box this

My mother, Leslee Smith, left us last night. She left an unfathomably wide and deep void in this world and in the lives of her family, but she has gone ahead of us to Heaven, where we will all see her again one day. Everything our family was, is, and ever will be, is all thanks to her.
